Dr. Jeff Ceyhan

BSc, DDS, MSD, Cert. Pros, FRCD(C)

Dr. Ceyhan obtained his DDS degree from Montreal’s McGill University in 1990 and received his MSD and specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from Seattle’s University of Washington in 2002. Dr. Ceyhan is a fellow, examiner and previous Chief examiner (5 years) of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is an active member in many local, national and international dental organizations. He is a published author in peer reviewed dental journals and textbooks and lectures at both the graduate and undergraduate level at Universities in Canada and the United States. Dr. Ceyhan has been a guest lecturer at McGill University, the University of British Columbia periodontal residents and is an Assistant Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington where he lectures to the undergraduate and the prosthodontic/periodontic graduate students. Dr. Ceyhan has lectured across North America at major conferences, local conferences and study clubs. Dr. Ceyhan is the co-founder of the Canadian Academy of Advanced Dentistry and is the Course Director of the implant residency program. Dr. Ceyhan has maintained a private practice in south Calgary specializing in fixed, removable and implant Prosthodontics for over 30 years.

Dr. Joseph Schwann, DMD

Dr. Schwann graduated with his D.M.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1982. He returned to his hometown of Regina to join his father in general dental practice until 1986 when he decided to pursue advance study in endodontics.

He received his certificate in graduate endodontics from the Oregan Health and Sciences University under the mentorship of Dr. F. James Marshall. Upon graduation in 1988, Dr. Schwann established his endodontic specialty practice in Calgary, Alberta where he and his wife, Dr. Sandra Schwann (pediatric dentistry) have raised four grown children who are in various parts of Canada and United States. Dr. Schwann had enjoyed his solo Endodontics practice in South Calgary for over 30 years but is excited to join Dr. Jeff Ceyhan in a specialty group practice.

Dr. Schwann has been an enthusiastic member of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics since his graduation and has recently served as the president of the CAE. He is also a member of the Alberta Society of Endodontists and the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Schwann enjoys hitting the links, skiing, soccer and travel with his family.
